Jeffrey J. Patterson, DO, professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Family Medicine, is the foundation’s director. Together, the members of the Hackett Hemwall Foundation dedicate their time and services to provide high-quality medical treatment to people around the world who are otherwise unable to afford medical care. 

A sampling of the many areas that the Hackett Hemwall Foundation offers help:

1. •    Treating chronic pain with prolotherapy
   

2. •    Treating severe varicose veins with sclerosing therapy
   

3. •    Provide dental care - preventative & restorative
   

4. •    Provide ENT surgeries and services
   

5. •    Train physicians in prolotherapy, vein sclerosis and ENT surgery
   

6. •    Assist in the development and operation of new Rehabilitation Centers
   

7. •    Educational support in schools
   

8. •    Computers and school supply donations
